Tender Coconut

Description

Tender coconut, often referred to as young coconut, is the fruit of the coconut tree (Cocos nucifera) harvested when it is still green and immature. Unlike mature coconuts, which have a hard, brown shell and fibrous interior, tender coconuts have a soft, green outer husk and a liquid-filled center. The flesh inside is soft, jelly-like, and translucent, while the liquid, known as coconut water, is clear and refreshing.
